Mirror Cover Install - Submitted by Black04XD2 Note: This DIY guide can be used for either Carbon Fiber or Chrome mirror covers. 1. Wash both mirrors and mirror covers with soap and water. 2. Clean surface of mirrors with rubbing alcohol to remove anything on the paint. 3. Use 3M thin style body tape and outline the back of the covers with it. Also, put one or two lines of the tape in the middle. 4. Take the backing off the tape and get ready to apply the cover. 5. Apply the cover to the mirror exactly lined up and make sure it looks right. Do not mess this up as it will be extremely difficult to remove the covers once the tape has been applied.
