Extra Trunk Lighting for Sedan - Submitted by GTSTISL

Tools and Materials needed:
Streetglow interior Optx light bar (20")
Soldering Iron
Rosin-core solder
Wire cutters (or an exacto knife)
Heat shrink
Flat head screwdriver
Magnetic tape or strong double sided tape

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Using the flathead screwdriver, pop the trunk light out and use wire cutters to remove it.

3. Splice the light bar wires and the trunk light wires, leaving about one inch of loose wire to solder.

4. Solder your wires together, matching positive (+) to positive and negative to negative (-). Test the wires to identify which wire is which.

5. Using heat shrink, enclose seperately your + and - wires to ensure safety.

6. Use magnetic tape and cut out squares to place on each end of the tube to keep it up. Double sided tape may also work.

7. Find some way to hide the wires from sight.
