Pantro05XD 2005 Hyundai Elantra GLS Sedan How long have you owned your Elantra? 2 years and 3 months. I bought it on April 19th, 2005. Is there anything special, unique, or different concerning the history of your Elantra? I had my eye on the Elantra for quite some time. I used to drive a 1981 Subaru, one day I was driving and the car broke down (for the 3rd time in 2 days) and I just couldn't take it anymore, the funny thing is that it broke down in front of the Hyundai dealership. A sign maybe? Anyways I just crossed the street and started the paperwork to get my Elantra. Honestly, what was your intention when you bought your Elantra? I wanted a car that looked different, there weren't that many Elantras here in Panama so I went for it also it was the best bang for the buck ($10.999 when I bought it). What was your intention after discovering EXD (or other Hyundai forums)? To do things the right way. Here in the forum there are lots of people with experience and modding skills, so I know I can use that knowledge and make the most out of my Elantra. In one word describe the style of your Elantra. Outstanding. Who helped modify your Elantra? Well, you guys basically. What do you like most about your Elantra? The way it looks, the curves on the Elantra are just sexy and the front looks just aggressive. What do you like least about your Elantra? It definitely could use a little bit more horsepower but still is a fun car to drive. What modification is next for your Elantra? I'm pretty much done with the exterior mods, the next thing I'll do is turbo, that's my plan for next year if everything goes well. On a scale from 0-10, how would you rate your Elantra? I'll have to say 8.8 since I haven't done any engine upgrades, there is room for improvement there. Most commonly, what do people say about your Elantra? "Really a Hyundai?, I looks like a Bimmo..." "Elantra, is that the new model?" Who is allowed to drive your Elantra? Well, ME also ME and in some really extreme cases ME. What is the most outrageous thing you have wanted to do to your car that you have not been able to do? I haven't thought of any outrageous things since I have tried to keep the look of the car clean and simple. But I don't know why turbo comes to my mind. (vrommmm, ppppsssttttt). What kind of car did you own (or drive) before your Elantra? A 1981 Subaru. Realistically, what kind of car is next? 4x4. probably a Hyundai Santa Fe. Man I love that car.
