Guess 2001 Hyundai Elantra GT Hatchback How long have you owned your Elantra? For about a year now. Is there anything special, unique, or different concerning the history of your Elantra? Well I bought my car used and I'm fairly sure it belonged to an older person before me as it's an 01 and it only has 38K on it. Honestly, what was your intention when you bought your Elantra? When I bought the car I had just sold my Nissan 240sx and was not really looking for something to mod just wanted an everyday sorta car. What was your intention after discovering EXD (or other Hyundai forums)? This is where things started to change as soon as I found out that I could mod the car it was down hill from there, starting with the CAI. In one word describe the style of your Elantra. Euro-ish. Who helped modify your Elantra? Kristal helped with the CAI and the strut Bar. As well as my Dad. Garys customs did the lip Kit and spoiler. Chris (VAbeach) helped me do things like the TB bypass and hooked me up with is IM. What do you like most about your Elantra? It just seems to fit me. What do you like least about your Elantra? The lack of overall get up an go. What modification is next for your Elantra? Well I've got a crank pulley and CF pod both waiting to go in, as for anything else guess you'll just have to stay tuned. On a scale from 0-10, how would you rate your Elantra? 9. I can't give the car a full 10 cuz it's not as fast as I would like it to be though I think that will change. Most commonly, what do people say about your Elantra? "Wow thats a Hyundai? Thought it was a saab or something." Who is allowed to drive your Elantra? Kristal - shes my girlfriend and she puts up with my car stuff. What is the most outrageous thing you have wanted to do to your car that you have not been able to do? I'll go with the second most outrageous cuz the first is going to happen sooner or later. So a Supercharger would be the answer. What kind of car did you own (or drive) before your Elantra? Nissan 240Sx s13. Realistically, what kind of car is next? Maybe a Tib though I sorta dig the Mazda 3 hatch though I think the Elantra is going to be around till I run it in to the ground or have done everything I can to it.
