View Full Version : Fixing Rock Chips/Scratches?
I know we have 3-4 professional detailers on our site, im sure one of you guys knows how to fix chips/scratches could you please run me through the steps please for our elantras?

if its a chip, you will need the touch up pen. if its a scratch, you might be able to get it out with some good waxing or polishing compound, but it may also need to be repainted. and if youve never done the touch up pen, practice on somethin.

if its chipped below the paint, theres really not anything a detailer could do. you would have to take it to a body shop. if a rock scratched the paint and not below the paint, they may be able to help. when i think of "chip", i think of below the paint
