No Longer FS: OEM CF Hood - **GTA LOCAL PICKUP ONLY**

I'm posting this in the Canada section because only people willing to make the drive will be able to purchase.

I'm finally putting up the white flag on my OEM CF hood.

There are no holes for nozzles or pins, but I have both, (non opened packages $30 extra) Only drove with it for one summer season, also in excellent condition. Was in the first batch of the OEM cf hoods ever made. I'm so sad to part with it, but it's just sitting in the basement all lonely. I do too much highway driving now for it to be safe with the latch only, and I don't wanna drill holes into it, would ruin the clean look for me - oh, the latch just has to be modified in order for it to be closed properly without pins (which isn't a big deal)

Asking $550 - again, you've gotta make your way to my house either sans hood or a big van to pick it up.

I see you have a CF Grill on it I already have a vented CF hood but I do need a CF grill. Did the grill come from Compact divisions? My email is jameswknowles@hotmail.com I have family in B.C. so shipping for just the grill if it is available would be easy. Let me know how much if it is for sale.

I am sorry but I had to take the opportunity to be foolish...On the topic of your hood, how do the lines match up with the body and are there any larger than normal gaps at the edges?

The lines of the hood are pretty good, I can't remember there being a disgusting gap, and I'm a picky person so I was satisfied.

Considering no one wants this hood, I've decided it's going back on my car with a few modifications to it in the spring....adding the dreaded hood clips and washer nozzles for that not so clean look, rather aiming for the safety factor of it not flying up on me on the highway doing a steady 135km/h. Jason - if you wanna come and pick it up you are more than welcome! lol

Unfortunately it's not for sale. I'm keeping it now since no one piped up during the winter months. So it's getting some holes poked in it now. Might be trying to sell it again in October though.

I was considering asking, but 550cdn is like 475 american, and i can get a new one for about 30$ more + shipping. i just didnt want to offer you what i felt it was worth and then be lowballing you

It still would have been considered, but yeah, no one came forward. Oh well, can't go back in time (well I guess I can but now i'm stuck on keeping it again) If I wanted to get rid of it bad enough I think I would have by now, but thanks to the people that were sorta interested. I think the fact that it wasn't going to be shipped was what kept the majority away anyway. I'll post pics of it when it's back on the car. Next question will be where to put the hood clips :)
