niceeeeeee

I started liking bikes now, well, no experience on crotch rockets myself, but me and my neighboor are currently rebuilding a 1981 Honda CR125 dirtbike :) Should be sweet, only a couple things left... ***. Rear fork, ***. Rear axle, put our rebuilt tranny in, new clutch discs, find a new rad, all brakes (HAHA they're DRUMS), mess around with the shifter assembly a bit, do the exhaust, and intake as a matter of fact, do some major bodywork to make it look sexy, etc....

All I can say is that it's FUN to work on a bike, it's so much less complicated than a car!!! Also you're not afraid of it, weigh a couple hundred pounds only, not thousands...

Eh, i'm done talking about my life :)

Yeah, so, nice bike :)

When I was living in Australia I tried to get that bike (got the loan, got the licence, got the test ride...told the fiancee then, wife now, and she said no.) It's the only thing that she's ever said I couldn't do, so I didn't really get that upset about it, but I would have really loved it.

Anyway, NICE BIKE. Have some fun on it for me.

I hate people who hate motorcycles.

:abovelol:

Anyway, awesome bike, I have the same one in the red color.
I've had it for about 2 months and I've got over 3000 miles on it and i've done 5 oil changes so far :)
I will be doing all future oil changes every 2000 miles. I've got a DIY on the link below to using regular car oil filters and oil on the bike... Read the thread because you can't use just any car oil.. it has to be a specific type but its still less than half the price of "motorcycle branded" oil...

I have done a few mods but nothing major..

#1. jumper wire mod (5 whp gain for free dyno proven).
#2. removed front fender reflectors.
#3. Removed air resonator on ram-air duct.
#4. Removed stock rear fender and made custom tag bracket.
#5. Drilled more/bigger holes on both rearset protectors.
#6. Rear brake reservoir eliminator mod.
#7. Removed both rear passenger pegs.
#8. Chopped off peg feelers and shaved down the mouting holes on the pegs (light weight mod thing)..

WOOT :)

You can find lots of my DIY mods on here:
