I think this is a pretty good example of what you can do if you want to do a custom supercharger. I found this on HP and I thought I would post it here. Still, I would rather do Speed Factors Entry Level Turbo before this.

the SC is right on top of the headers...

the inlet for that blower is on the bottom side too ... lol

+ its a very VERY small SC so it wont make much boost either... then pushing through that HUGE FMIC will suck out another 1 or 2 psi so you end up with almost no boost at all .. lol

My question is with this though, if you use header wrap on headers and are only looking for 5-6 pounds of boost max, would this not be adewuate enough. The reason I ask is he is asking 600 shipped through email. Some input woould be helpful.

um...that would not be worth it...yeah you could get it for the that price but you would s till need to do something about your fuel...which would end up being probably another 500 bucks...so for a grand total of 1100 bucks...for something that might work...but probably wouldnt (what Ford said).

It doesn't look like the M45 SC would fit between the engine and the firewall... that's a shame. If so and with water/alcohol injection with a smaller IC or no IC it might have potential. I'd trust Ford's assessment of the design.
