Continuing on with my turbo project... Here are some pics of the head work that just got completed. I will post flow number as soon as I get them.

Enjoy the pics... Take a look at the older valves.. do they look deformed? lol

oversized valves AND porting ! LOL

Hopefully you'll make some power with boost !

If someone wanted to use this head on an NA motor they would need to advance the timing to burn up all the air/fuel mix better otherwise the power gains would be sucky + the mid-range torque would suffer due to slower port speed... (with a turbo all of that doesn't matter so you don't have to worry about timing advance).. if anything, you'll have to pull some timing out but that is easily done with an MSD box :)

so lets say we had a turbo charged beta2 with porting/bigger vavles and another without the big valves and porting (also turbo charged) how much of an advantage would the ported one have over the non?

how much for the valves?

also, oversized valves dont always equate to better flow (im sure you know this)

anyway, looks awesome.

I have to give credit to Jeff over at CHR motorsports. I got my work done by them. They offer 1mm oversize valves from SI and REV. Here is the web addy.. www.chrracingproducts.com

Hmmm....I wonder where CHR is located.....hmmm.....I wonder where I had all of my head work done......hmmm......I wonder who had the first Hyundai Cylinder head worked on by Jeff......hmmm...... :)
