Should I be able to just put this in place of my current headunit not changing any wires out since its already a kenwood harnass

I've always been a Kenwood fan, and that's a neat unit with the G-graphic car performance system, too.

Check the harness closely before just plugging it into your new Kenwood. The wires are sometimes in a different position, even though the plug is the same.

I've noticed that the Kenwood site is pretty much useless, too -- I was trying to get a manual for the Hyundai OEM HU (KDC-622 or similar), and as far as I can tell you can't get the manuals from their site.

I ended up finding a PDF format electronic copy of the manual at Crutchfield's site.

is the wire harness for your new unit... it has a list of all the compatible units. if your old one is on the list, it should be a direct swap, otherwise, probably not.
