Those types of products have been around for a while, although I have never heard of this company before, but they have been around for 6 years, and have a 99.2% pos.feedback, which does say a lot.
The prices seem reasonable, and they have a good selection of color choices.
Not having to paint any more smurf really appeals to me.
Rethought: Maybe we can get a group buy going for this.
Cheers,
Mark
ill definitely be buying one of these as soon as i decide on what color to get lol

i assume Super is talking about the clear red vinyl left over from Talgat. if that's it then it's a good cheap way to red out your tails. that was my first mod and now two years later it's still on there. i also used what i had left over to change the color of the clock and ashtray light. evil had it his car http://www.elantraxd.com/Img/evil3.jpg

sounds like something that i would do. but i want a black int. with blue clock... still trying to pry off the stock green but it looks like its more than just spot melted on there.

unless you stretch and shrinnk the vinyl on the interio pieces, I can't help but think it would look like crap unless you got it PERFECT. Bubbles, seams, creases.... lots of things can go wrong considering the multitude of shapes to our dash pieces....

that's why he said to PM him! :owned:

just keep working at it, the spot melds are pretty tough.... just keep cutting at them and gently prying...

I'll be trying SuperGLS' red vinyl on the exterior of my taillights, so I'll let you know how well it works there (on the outside of a wide-radius compound curve). That will give you guys at least some idea of how easy / hard it is.
I just found this old thread and like to revamp it.I did the rvinyl kit on my g/f's car and it took like an hour to do.I'll try to remember to take some pics this week when she gets home for break from college. It's not too horrible to do.And this coming from a person that has no patience.

Ok,long over due pics. This is what all the hype is about.Very easy to do.All you need is the kit,a spray bottle of water for lube and a bunch of patience.

i noticed they dont do a precut for the elantra, which would you use for a 00 elantra gl is there another precut that can be trimmed to fit the elantra or is there another way of doing it?!
i think that there are companies that offer some kits for elantra's.check on ebay, you might find something worth while

paint fumes are teh 1337! j/k, i got enough of those when i painted my panels (both in car and in my room at school) and then in scott's garage with the rims. I think im done with painting for a bit (at least until i can get time to do my interior... any good cheap dye companies anyone would recommend for the head liner and other cloth parts of the car?
