there are only 3 companys that can do a high amp alt....for $699.00.

let me know after the install what you hit on a term lab. im interested in what the a5000spl will do. you are also going to need a 2nd battery for the system alone. an isolater, circuit breaker, about 20' of 0ga wire to wire up a dual battery setup. nice big distribution block, 4ga speaker wire for sub. you will also need to make a ground for the 2nd battery to the sub frame in the rear, and so on.

and the a5000spl is one hell of an amp:D i want me one.

btw: the buyer backed out. and im keeping the 2000.00 deposit he gave me. i told him non-refundable. :D

i forgot to say that i used 2 dynamat extreme kits that where 199$ each the 200ft wire is for the mids and highs. i'm getting some more dynamat going to do the whole car inside.... as for runing a second 0/1 cable your crazy it was hard enuff runing it down the side where you enter down by the door. i basicaly did the same thing as the diy. waiting on my $6000 from re finacing my house. also going to to put 2 sets of mids and tweets with crossover kits. total of 4 tweets 2 in front and 2 in back and 4 mids 2 in front 2 in back. also looking for a 8vpreoutput cd player

that pretty much narrows your choices to eclipse, eclipse, or eclipse. not that there's anything wrong with that. i suppose you could also use a line driver, though, if you found another head unit that you like.

im running the 960mp form pioneer. it has 3x 6.5volts. plenty of extra juice. and my amp gains are turned up 1/4, thats it (daily), then a bit lower than 1/2 for comps.
