make sure it's not touching the master cylinder.... other than that, it could just be the engine vibrating from the new Intake, I find that my car has rattles and more vibration since I put the CAI and exhaust.

its touching the brake lines, you have to lift it up a bit.

Yup, I had the exact same problem... just follow your intake piping. If it's pushing up against anything that looks like a fluid hose or a cylinder, make an effort to reroute your piping at least to the point where it is not touching anymore...

Look at it closley, as soon as it comes from the TB, it takes a bend. Look right below the bend, and there is a fluid resivior. Chances are it is very close if not touching it. I have install various CAI's in my XD and the only one that doesnt touch is the 2.5 inch diameter one i currently have on. It is skinny enough and just barley clears the brake cylinder.

rubber will only mask the problem. not fix it.
you need to actually move the intake pipe and then re-clamp it down so that it is completely clear of the brake components.
remember the engine moves up to 1 inch back and forth during normal driving...
you have to compensate for this.
if you are unable to alter the position by re-locating the pipe within the couplers, you will have to take more drastic measures such as cutting the intake pipe a bit shorter so the bend clears the brake parts OR buying a completely different intake pipe that has a more radical bend that will clear the brake parts.
don't let this go unchecked... or you will regret it.

pipes worked for everyone else, it was a tight fit like any accord CAI ill try and see what I can do in terms of moving it away from the cables, how about power steering, it still moves whene engine moves it will most likely still hit

bro, its not hard.
rotate the pipe UPWARDS a bit, just so you give it some space so it doesnt hit the lines.

moved it a bit, its not touching power steering now and the brake lines are about a foot back going into the wheel well I dunno how it would hit lol

the pedal vibrating has nothing to do with power steering... the p/s pump and reservoir are all on the passenger side...

Thats what I was thinking, but when I installed my sri on I had the same prob.Easy fix though

Just to be clear it touches the BRAKE lines, and nothing else.
the reservoir you see is for BRAKE fluid
If you look at this pic, you can see clearly:

Left side: power steering reservoir, dark color
Right side, UNDER the cai is the brake fluid reservoir with the lines.

not sure if this is the right place but, I want to do a CAI but in Nj when we get rain (all the damn time) it floods, not crazy cause its driveable. Anyway do yall think its safe to run CAI in the wheel well?

search.
if you're afraid of rain, get a bypass or cover up the foglight hole with something so that water doesnt hit the filter directly. im not gonna give you a clear piece of advice because if i say yes and you get hydrolocked you'll try to sue me lol
