I set up my new Kenwood KDC-MP7028 today and the subs are way louder.. I guess because it has more amp volts? I dunno anyways my lights all dim like crap now so Ill be getting a cap :eek: and also my airbag light is stuck on I redid the dash twice and no dice.. the passenger airbag light doesnt come on at all

btw the G-force **** on this things awsome for acceling and turning.... sick *** HU for $167 shipped used (like new from some chick)

make sure when your adding a deck with rca output voltage to re-tune the gains on the amp. most of the time you will need to lower the gain settings. on my amps the gains are 1/4 turn from the lowest setting. any more and you might fry the amp or subs. trust me on this:D

Yeah, you now have 4 volt pre-outs, I dont know what radio you had before, but it probably had between 1.5 and 3 volt pre-outs. Defonately go with 2loud's advice and re-tune the amp so you dont fry anything.

Loud is good, but silent because it was loud is bad.

That's a pretty sweet headunit (and deal, since Crutchfield still charges $300). I didn't know they had integrated G-force stuff into headunits... maybe I should pay more attention to A/V stuff - pretty cool.
