Dash LED Lights

Hooked up 2 blue lights on my dash yesterday the wires are hidden behind dash but the wires come out at the bottom to hook to the cig lighter.. anyway to wire it so the switch is in ashtray and wire is hooked up all the time, i want a stealth solution,

yes. splice it into the cigarette lighter wires

but then they will be on 24/7 I wnat tthe switch to work still (puttin it in ashtray)

if you have it on a switch.. it will work just like a light switch. when you turn it on.. its on.. when you turn it off.. its off.. not that hard..

Ya, splice it to the positive and negative of the lighter. If you dont have a switch for it, just cut got to radio shack and get a flip switch for like $1, cut the negative of the LED circuit before it goes to the lighter part, splice more wires on if you want it to be at a certain spot, then solder the switch in. Its simple...
