401 Eastbound Rush Hour??

Hey, does anyone know what time evening rush hour starts heading east on the 401 through toronto if I am leaving from guelph?

sorry, afternoon rush hour. I'm leaving guelph at 1:30 on friday afternoon, so I should be in TO by 2:30 or 3 at the latest.

You should be fine until you hit Mississauga, Hwy10 area. Especially at the time you're leaving. Rush hour around here usually starts after 3 pm.

I work at Mississauga Rd and the 401 and can see the 401 from my building.

I use to leave here at 4:00 pm to drive to Kitchener and traffic on both sides were moving along quite nicely.

Just be sure to listen to 680 news for there 10 min traffic report.

everytime i went from detroit to the st. agath area, i always hit traffic from 2:00 thru 7:00 every time i went thru. good luck man

Thanks guys. I'm leaving Kitchener Waterloo at 11:30 with my wife to pick up her sister in Guelph at 1:30 (we're going to grab some lunch out there, hence the extra hour), then we are going to hit the road for Ottawa. We need to be in Gatineau for 7:30, so it's going to be tight. Here's hoping that we get there on time. Thanks again!

Well, we're in Gatineau for friday nights dinner, and saturday I'm painting in the morning, but I might be able to swing some time to get together on saturday afternoon maybe. It would probably be a meet up halfway kind of deal if you were interested.
