today in vegas it rained and rained and rained. well some asshole in front of me decided it would be funny to peel out in 2 inches of water and 3 inches of rocks... with me directly behind him. he kicks HUGE rocks ( 3-4 inches) up into my hood and window, and guess what i notice when i get to school? a nice crack right below my line of sight. if my month couldn't get any worse? first someone backs into me, leaving no note, now this. what a ****box my hyundai is turning into. worst part is; he did it on purpose.

Did you get his license plate? He would still be liable for it. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

dang... sorry to hear that man... if i saw anyone doing that, and if i KNEW a rock hit me, i would go past him, brake, get out the car with my iron bat, try to talk some sense out of him and get some money. if it fails, bring the bat to HIS winshield and leave.

If you ever find out where he lives or who he is, make sure he gets what he deserves. I'd say just smash all the windows out of his car, that would teach him a lesson. I've heard pieces from broken toilets work exceptionally well when throwing at car windows.

Thanks man, I'm gonna build up an ammo supply starting now!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Cody.
If that was to happen to me, I would definately record his plates and follow him to teach him a lesson. Understood that following can't always be accomplished, but yeah, I feel for you man.
Hope you have some good things happen now!

:) more power to you bro.. i'd do the same. Eye for an eye. Either that or you can throw a spark plug at his windshield and crack it.. that'd prolly be easier :)

Before we go off blowing up the guys house and kidknapping his wife & kids... did you say anything to this guy? If you can find him to seek revenge, you can find him to give you some cash towards the damages.

If then he doesn't want to be helpful, then go back to plan A.

Cody said the guy did it on purpose though.. so if you he went to confront him and the guy said "nope not giving you the $$".. and then the next day surprisingly his tires are flat and his windshield is gone.. he'll know who to look for..

and how could he prove i did it?

i wouldn't condone vandalism but tinting all his windows from outside with dupli-color paint would work.

Your in vegas where its nice and warm, right? Do what I saw some kids do to another kids car out here on a hot day. Get some heat-shrink saran wrap, and wrap up his car. Its a compleat pain in the *** to remove, and doesnt "damage" anything. If your nice, you'll put a little bow on top! :D

**** that, the kid did hundreds of dollars of damage to his car. If he should do anything to get back at the kid, it should be at LEAST as much damage as the kid did to his car. He won't learn his lesson if he just has to clean some seran wrap off his car, but he WILL learn his lesson if he has to pay to replace every window on his car.

From my understanding, the guy spun his tires on purpose - the kicking up of debris and damage to the Elantra was an unintentional side-effect.

Causing some other guy hundreds of dollars in damage does nothing for you. What if he has no idea why you did this, then it's his turn to get even... where does the cycle end?

Being a 'hard-***' and going around to get even for what happens on accident is what gives the 'tuner scene' a bad name. You guys are showing your age.

In florida, the insurance company pays for all windshield damages for free. Not sure if it's just florida but it's worth mentioning. Also, what are the odds of you ever seeing this j*rk-off again? Slim to none is my guessing.
Just chalk this up as a life experience. Now you know to not let them get away when something like this happens. I know one time i was at dunkin donuts and this guy parked really close to me. To make a long story short, the guy opened his door and made a nice little ding on my door and i just kinda ignored it thinking it wasn't as bad as it was. But two months ago at school someone did the same thing and i confronted them and let them know how i cared about my car.... :pain10: ^_^ anywayz. Don't be afraid to take action next time.

I'd really like to see how you would feel if someone did this to your car, and then how you would really react in his position. I'm sure you wouldn't want to have to pay those hundreds of dollars to pay for something like that.

Well, if you read more of the recent posts, you would see the story of when I had $1200 in damage done to my car for being keyed. I didn't go off seeking revenge on everyone I knew had parked by me in the parking lot (purple cavalier).

Just saying causing someone else damage isn't going to fix your car. Just shows that you're as big of a prick as the guy who messed up your car - but moreso, since you were out to do it on purpose.

Okay, first of all, you didn't have to call me a prick. Just because we have different views on something doesn't mean you have to start throwing insults into this. Isn't there some kind of rule on here that says no personal attacks of some sort? As a moderator, you should be setting an example ;) Heh

Second of all, sure its not going to fix his car, but doing nothing definetly isn't going to get him anything other than a huge bill to pay on his own.

I wasn't calling you a prick, calm down. I was saying if you [meaning a person] went out doing this, that would mean you [a person] would be a prick.

You [meaning Rdizziedog] need to stop being so defensive all the time.

And I agree with your second point, where you are agreeing with me in saying that he should go try to get this paid by the guy.
