ok i wanted to know what every thinks of the different ecu options out there.
as far as i know we have the sharkracing remapped ecu option, REAL ecu, BSE ecu then theres always the powerchip option. does anyone have any thoughts on these? do you think its possible to gain 8-10 hp?
here is what sr has to say about their ecu:
OEM ECU is used to remap data to bring out better performance. Redline is increased to 7500RPM, and timing is advanced, to produce higher horsepower and torque throughout the powerband. On average, for the 2.0 engine, there will be a gain of 8~10 horsepower, possibly more.
BSE has this quick blurp:
Improved Air/Fuel Ratios
Recalibrated Timing Curves
Removed Speed Limiters
A quick, easy way to unlock your engine's true potential -- get more power and crisper throttle response, all with smooth drivability.
whats the real site so i can put what they say? but anyway whats everyones thoughts on these remapped ecus?? worth it or not? has anyone ever purchased one?
