what is the best way of doing this? i'm thinking from the batt down to the frame then along the frame back to just behind the back seats then up. is there a spot to run wires from frame into cabin behind the seats? and if so, do i need to remove the seats to get to it. thanks!

Do Not Run Power Wires Under The Car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if by chance something got caught or the wire gotten pinched under there it will cause a fire or alot of sparks. run it thru the pass side fire wall, then down the inside frame rail to the trunk. i have a dual battery DIY up here somewhere. look at that. all the info you need is there.
here is the link.

yeah, just remove the metal clip things that hold the bottom trim piece down. you know what im talking about. and always use a grommet when you run the wire thru the firewall. and i have all my wires form the engine bay ran on the passenger side. much easire than messing on the drivers side. i probably have 10 wires ran thru there.
there are pics somewhere on this site...or my photobucket site here:

so if i remove those metal brackets, how does the trim piece stay attached where its supposed to?

no, you remove the metal brackets, then run the power wire along side, the replace the metal brackets.
give me a few minutes to run out and snap off a few pics.
here are the pics ryan.
see how i have the 0ga ran under the metal clips.
also, on the senond pic, you can see how i ran the wires from the enging thru the firewall. YES!! i know i have alot of wires, but i have alot of electronic stuff.
also, use a grommet and some sealant to seal up the holes.

dayum man, thought you were gonna call, lol. i had my car apart tonight re-wiring things before winter. anyways, glad to hear the install worked out good. did you run the 0ga under the metal clips? just curious. and did you use oxygen free 0ga? there is a big difference in power wire quality. but thats for a different topic.
now its time to throw her up on a term-lab and see what kinda numbers she'll do :D
