Neon's dont pull that much energy and dont create as much heat as you've probably read on the web

as far as which one to go with (neon vs led).. LED - when one burns out you'll still see the light.. but instead of it being (excuse my drawing) like this:

so you kinda have a hole.

with Neons, if it burns out, the light just doesnt come on

i like neons because of the glow, you dont get that with leds, but some leds got the flash and strobe stuff, id go with neons, ill be getting blue ones soon,

yeah i use neons as well, but i like the way that LED's seem "bluer" to an extent if you know what i mean

yeah i know, i got blue neons under my car and my freind got blue leds under his and his is alot "bluer" but it only like glows out 4-6" not bad tho, i still like my neons ;)

when you do install the underbody neons, make sure you dont attach it to the car to tight, i had them on the car, the front one was installed to tight and the inside exploded i took the other 3 off and there sitting in my garage carroded in tar or somthin :(
