Other Interests?

I don't remember a thread about this... although I'm sure at one point in time it would have had to existed. Other than cars/trucks/motorcycles, what interests do you guys have?

Personally, I need another hobby like I need a hole-in-the-head. My biggest hobby -ok addiction- of the past 6 months -or so- has been fish tanks. I just ordered the last pieces of my new +$700 setup (46g bowfront). I keep a few types New Guinea Rainbowfish mainly, and will be keeping a rare, endangered species in the new tank. I need to get a grip on this thing though, since that's now my 5th tank, and my wife is going to go crazy if I don't. I've had fish for a few years, for some reason though it's really caught on with me in the past 1/2 year.

Other than that (and cars, of course) I like to play in the garage (yay tools!), enjoy my home theater system, and formerly - computers... but I've gotten away from them, compared to what I once was, since it's my job & it sucks the fun out of it.

video games is prolly my second biggest hobby. I'm a big Nintendo fan so I have a GC and a Nintendo DS. Ummm. On Nov 14 Ill be buying Mario Kart DS because it will be online. Umm.....I love the Legend of Zelda. LOL

I have too many, mt biking, snowboarding, disc golf, shooting(need more money for this one) cooking(I don't let the wife in the kitchen if I actually want to eat), pc gaming. There are more but that's just what came to mind.

Other than that, it's work and study. Maybe I will one day get a real hobby. Modding an elantra isn't enough for me :)

I don't know if you'd call it a hobby, but working out and eating 6 times a day has become an obsession for me this year. 29 pounds gained so far, and counting. :)

fabrication, welding, engineering, and of course, getting my arse whipped by calculus and engineering classes is my hobby.

hobbies: music (all but country)... i even play guitar/bass in one band (depending on who the bassist we get for the night is) and vocals in another, formerly computer modification (but cars have taken its place), working on other people's cars, movies, and going to plays.

i also snowboard in teh winter, and do all forms of bmx except for racing and vert (that leaves dirt jumping, street, and flatland)

My Husband & I were getting into the fish thing too, we had plans of expanding our cichlid tank. Welllll......as u may know the joys of owning a home, the money went towards other things in the house. It also started getting too expensive so we sort of put it on hold. Hmmm...maybe another reason why I still don't have that many mods on the car.

Right now I am into photography and web design. I might take a class in the spring for Dreamweaver :).
