Yes, I did check the archives and came up with nothing because this is a common sense question to a lot of you... but shhhhh!
When wiring the rear speakers to the amp, each speaker has to go to its own channel right? I need to get proof of others knowing this so my friend will STFU about me wiring in her amp with her speakers.

yes ....each speaker gets its own channel the right speaker to the right channel the left speaker to the left channel. tell her that your the man and can do whatever you want...add something about not needing directions either thats allways fun. :)

yep, that's right.
and if its a 4 channel, dont go into bridging them to the speakers, i personally dont and wont do that on cars i do installs on, because speakers usually dont blow the f up on 4 ohms only, 2 ohms, ive never tried, but i would not suggest. unless somebody with more experience can say something about this.
so yeah, basically, 1 speaker, 1 channel. make sure you put the - with - and + with + :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D LOL jfwy man

switching the polarity on the speakers wont prduce sparks.... it just makes the cone phase in the opposite direction. as for your question its preferred that each speaker has its own channel but it doesnt mean that u have to hook them up that way.....
and if ur looking for another Alpine amp... PM me i might be able to give u a good deal after all i do sell that stuff.
