I am trying to hunt down a good 8" sub that has low frequency response (around 35hz), requires less than .8 cu. ft. of airspace (sealed enclosure), and can take about 150-200 watts RMS. :)

I was looking at the JL audio 8 W3v2, but it says it only can take 125 Watts continuously :(

how about a/d/s a8s?

i have not heard these but i know the old a/d/s 10" subs required less than 1 cu ft, so i'd be pretty sure the newer 8's require less than 0.8

Thanks...I think I will be picking those subs up and then sell the second one.

They sell some really nice subs at PartsExpress for cheap:

The Dayton Quattro series is supposed to be good. A lot of bang for the buck.

Just a word of advice. I have a 200watt 8inch sub in the back of my '02, and it it really only gives a minimal amount of base. You might want to consider more wattage, or a 10inch.
