Alright, right now my XD has about 104,000km's. on it.... Should I get this:

after selling my XD I can probably get for $15,000 CDN.
or should I do the following things to my car:
1) turbo or Supercharge with intercooler around 200 whp the XD $4500 CDN
2) Eibach lowering springs and kyb shocks $900 CDN
3) 17' rims $1200 CDN
4) big brake upgrade $850 CDN (I think)
5) Full exhaust with High FLOW CATS $1000 CDN
6) Carbon Fibre HOod $550 CDN
For a total of $9000 CDN
So the question is Should I fix up the XD with that much milage or should I just get My dream car with half my milage.

Unless its an STI, get a new engine from Ebay with less miles and Boost the hell out of it

Well, you know what's wrong with your car... the the WRX, you have no clue. + the XD will be one of a few.

If you can afford the Subaru and you can get it at a really nice price, then I would suggest getting it if performance is what you're after.
You'll have a faster, sportier car with a good resale value and less miles.
If you put that money into your Elantra, your car still won't be as sporty as the WRX and who knows what will go wrong with your turbo project. It could end up being a neverending project where you're constantly putting money into it here and there.
The worst part is you put all that money into it, only to decrease the value of your car even more because now it's far from stock. And when it comes time to selling it, you'll get next to nothing because Hyundais have the worst resale value.

All prices are in CANADIAN dollars.

NO, it's just a regular WRX

Guys, you are so lucky. 22000 CND for Impreza is very cheap. For example, in Moscow Impreza WRX 2002 costs 22000 USD and more....

Hell, of you have the money and really want i, go for it. I regard the impreza as my next car, but I dont want to buy one until im married/settled, LOL. don't want to live paycheck after paycheck... (in my case)

Having done quite a few thousand kms on a 2002 wrx impreza, I can say that as much as I love my XD, go for the wrx if you're looking for performance. I've taken one rally driving, and the way that it glues itself to the road is just beautiful. Also, as much as it can be fun sometimes to slip and slide around in winter, the wrx with all wheel drive is a lot easier to drive. The first time I drove my wife's dad's car, I was young and stupid (still young, not so stupid) and tried to get it to slide all over the place (it was Feb). It stuck to the road and really didn't move around at all.
Downside. I hate driving it in rush hour traffic, or in the city. The clutch is so hard, my shins/feet/calves hurt after driving for 10-15 in the city.

Here's what I say. Unless you've got other cars laying around for daily use, don't modify the Elantra. If you need reliability and daily drivability out of the car, putting a big forced-induction system on the XD is gonna bite you in the ***, especially since your still not going to have WRX performance out of the XD. If you can afford to go pay cash for the WRX, do it. If not - I would say keep driving the XD until you can either: 1. buy the car you want without going into debt, or 2. the XDs wheels fall off and you need to finance another car anyway.

Smart move money wise - keep the XD for a while. (Don't know if you have yours paid off yet though). I'm a little scared off of used cars now, so my vote is to stay with what you've got.

Wuss. Do up the XD. Forget about the WRX, go with what you know!
