View Full Version : No idea what to do next...
I have about, oh, $500-$700 saved up for the car, and I dont know what to get next. Im not getting rims soon since winter hit, and I can just save up for them over then. So what should I get? Im not getting anything that voids the warrenty, or lowering the car. Any other idea's?

Do you have any mods yet? If so list them so we can suggest what you don't already have. I suggest an alarm if you dont have one... asap

get a remote starter.
often disregarded by people, but trust me, in winter, that thing ****ing ROCKS.
seriously. Consider it.
OR else you could just go for a nice(r) system
Mods list:
35% window tint all around
Neon underbodykit
system (xplod AMP, 2 xplod 10" subs)
Gauge light cluster done
CAI
Performance muffler
Clear sidemarkers
Foglights
Hood LED's
Windshield Vinyl
Oh, NO bodykits either. The roads here are to crappy and I dont want to look like all the other kitted cars here, i.e. the kit hanging off the car, extreamly potmarked, ect.

DUDE your warranty is already triple voided with those Clear CORNERS and Hood LEDS!!!!!! (jk!) But ya you should go for sway bars..... more specifically the tib gt rear sway bar... unless youve been living on mars for the past 5 years im sure youve noticed the widespread approval for it.
send $400 to the "help the paki" fund.. i can PM you with the address to send it to :D lol
get the tib gt rear sway bar and tib pedals! along with a ground wire kit to help your system :)

I say get the remote starter in now... before it gets too cold lol.... and you should have enough money over to get the sway bar and the pedals all in one buy lol...

If you've got a garage, the multigauge is a nice addition for the price. Working on it in the wintertime would suck though, as I always had my door open while connecting stuff to the ECU.
The sway bar is also a really nice addition for the money.

sway bar is about 190?? i think... get that. and get ground wires it'll give your subs a better sound and your idle will be a bit smoother. depending on how many miles on your car i'd suggest getting bigger wires and new plugs. new battery would be good if you've got a system.

If you are paying $190 for the sway bar that's too much.
I'd go with sway bar. You know, for safety in the winter or something like that.

well isn't it that much new from the dealer?

Well maybe if you are paying some expensive mechanic to install it... but the parts (bar, links, bushings)should come to 120-150 from a dealer.
Hmm, I was thinking about sway/strut bar's, but I dont know what sizes to get for them. Possible on the wires/plugs, and no on the remote starter. It would be nice, but im never in the car that long in the winter anyways, and if I am, im bundled up like hell.
Cornbread...the windows are tinted man! you even saw them at the meet! haha. plus its the first thing i have on my mod list!
No on the multi-gauge and pedals, they just dont appeal to me, plus I have no where to put the multi-guage (double din cd-player in right now.)
I guess the top things on my list are (includes over the winter):
-Headunit
-Eyebrows + lines
-Rims
-wires/plugs
-new subwoofers/amp/ect.
-angel eyes
-5 speed conversion (psych!)
more idea's please! :D and thanks to all who suggest something! :D :D
