Well, it's Halloween time, so what's your favorite scary movie?
Here's a quick run down of some of my fav's, one from each decade to give you an idea-
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1919), Nosferatu (1922), Dracula (1931), The Wolf Man (1941), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Night of the Living Dead (1968), Halloween (1978), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Scream (1996), Freddy Vs. Jason (2003)
Sure, there are MANY others. But have a great (and safe) weekend :)

I'd have to say the Scream Triliogy. Course I haven't seen them for awhile. My favorite "Horror" movie is probably Saw and I haven't got a chance to see the second one yet. Then my favorite "Whore" movie would be "Strapon Sally".
*note - I do not want people thinking I like that movie because I havent seen that one yet. Just in case you guys are like "HEY I'VE SEEN THAT ONE AND IT SUCKED" lol...

Hmmm, horror movies are my all time favorite types of movies to watch. But there are sooo many that I love. I'm a fan of the classics (80's - 90's). Some of my favorites are:
"Halloween"
"Carrie"
The "Hellraiser" movies
"Poltergiest"
"Night of the Living Dead"
"The Thing"
"The Shining"
"Pet Sematary"
"IT"
There's many others I just can't remember at the moment, but if I do...I'll update this post :D

I like Stephen King's stories. I've read all of them. But movies basied on his novels not so good. The best I think are "Green Mile" and "Shawshank redemption", but they're not horrors..... (sorry for my English)...

Oh god the best horror movie has got to be the FIRST, ORIGINAL, ONE AND ONLY "The Exorcist" :D
Oh, and for anyone who knows what "Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3)" is, that's some FUNNY stuff right there. Bruce Campbell is by far the funniest dude with his lines LOL
"Good, Bad,... I'm a man with a gun" :D
"Give me some sugar baby" LOL
I just love the way that guy talks

As far as his horror movies go, I liked Pet Sematary (not better than the book) but what is up with the spelling, "Sematary" instead of the orthographically correct "Cemetary"
The Shining was great too. I am among the few that actually liked the remake of that one as well.
Don't forget 'Bad Taste' and 'Dead Alive' by Peter "Lord of the Rings" Jackson :D

Oooh.... Poltergeist!!! I love the ending... When the guy goes up to his boss and says:
"How can you do such a thing, you BASTARD!"
it's full of emotions :D

For me, it's hands down the orignal "Alien" by Ridley Scott. 1977 I believe it was, or was it 1979? Either way, that movie is the ONLY movie to date that still scarees the hell out of me. The sequel "Aliens" was amazing too, but after knowing the background provided by "Alien" it isn't as scary to me. Alien 3 would have rocked if it had guns and explosions, but it's pretty crappy. Alien Ressurection should have never been made.
