i think we should have a product review section, so when someone gets a new product and tests it out, they can tell how much they like it, and others can discuss it and give their opinions if theyve used the same thing

Yup, I like that idea too. Great to know other XD owners opinions before buying something.

dude uh... i suggested this idea (kinda) in that maintenance section thread that supergls made. I guess I'm not popular enough to have my thoughts heard :( http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10357 link to that post i had earlier...

I must have never seen that ctele, that's my bad.

This is a good idea, whose ever it was.

I'm thinking have a montly write up that I could post on the main page and then have people comment on it in the forum. I'd want professional write ups though, not anything like "I got this NOS system and I totally pwned the ricerzz on 12th street yo," seriously, I mean, I don't want to have to address spelling and grammar errors and stuff. Plus we need write ups that address all the aspects and concerns of the given product.

Thoughts?

idk about "professional writeups", but i'd like something like

"invisible glass by stoners - picked some of this up @ xxxxxxx yesterday, for x.xx$, works a lot better than xxxxxxx or xxxxxxxx, best when used w/ microfiber towel, leaves no streaks, glass is incredibly clean, easy to use" then maybe a rating out of 10.

I think it would be very helpful if everyone followed a basic structure as i described in my earlier post (5 parts) but in each section you can go into how ever much detail as you want (as long as its meaningful and you share enough to meet the required parameters.)

i know that it may seem like more work for you super, but if you do make a section for this, in the sticky make a form that has to be filled out otherwise it will be deleted to cover all the criteria

That's a good idea, and using the 5 basic things that ctele has outlined, seems like it would work pretty well.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I've been too busy too do much with the site over the last month or so, but, I should have more time now (I've figured out this computer and my bday is over).
