Color Of Clock Light

does anyone here know how to change the color of the little clock in the car?? the original color is that lame greeen i wanna change it and was wondering if anyone knew how....also its been a while since i've been on the site haha so i'll get pics of my car posted soon. ok well later guys...hope someone can help... :D

THIS ONLY WORKS ON 2001-2003

take everything apart, change the screen in front of the clock to a color of your choice.

For 2004-2006, you have no choice but to change the SMT leds, which are PAINS to remove/replace, so just live with it.

i mentioned something about this in another post. i used BLUE window tint film (3-4 layers). it made it look 99.9999% exact color of the dash lights.

ha! yay for jewel cases. after using clear/blue pocket folders and dividers, ive gotten rid of that "fuzzy" look and go blue jewel cases, i ahve a lot left over too!

yes because the 01-03 you can remove the green film over the clock. on 04-05 you cant.

anyway, the colors that i have are purple, yellow, red, green, and blue... i can precut them for you and have them sent by standard mail with standard postage and insurance charge... the total cost will be like 2bux

i havent seen teh purple, i went straight with the blue, and it matches my alpine perfectly

idk it stopped working like 2 yrs ago. it comes on every blue moon. im just glad my navi system has a nice big clock on it.

i tryed this on my 01 and the jewl case made it blury but i was using the back part of the case not the front the front was clear but are you sure on the 01 you can take off the green tape??? it looked like the plastic was green on mine not a tape on it...

It's not glass...it's plastic. You remove the plastic piece completely and replace it with the color of your choice.

yes because the 01-03 you can remove the green film over the clock. on 04-05 you cant.
