As most of you know, Im going to be boosted soon. I was looking around for some suggestions on a timer itself and I was wondering if anyone knows of a harness adaptor for the Elantra that is compatable from another car or a direct fitment for one.

Thanks,
Sean

bah watercooled turbo wastegated @ 8 psi shouldnt become hot enough to burn oil

and if you stay away from dino oils you're good to go anyways.

any turbo timer would work, they are all universal (except for a few of them maybe)

Don't some aftermarket alarms have built in "turbo timer" functions?

Though I am not boosted, I have a timer. I have the Apex'i timer, it has voltage, AF, o2 voltage, and of course after idle settings. Easy install, very very small, easy use and it doesnt look half bad either, I have never had any troubles with it at all.

Honestly if you have a water and oil cooled turbo you don't need a turbo timer, would just be unnecessary, thats one of the big benifits of paying more for a water cooled turbo.
