how much hp automatics take

ok my questions is how much horsepower can automatic hyundai elantra take i heard it cant go over 200

Tim from Speed-Factor ran his stock Beta1 with an automatic at 17psi for a year from what he told me. They can hold up to 200whp max, 225whp max with a transmission cooler.

17psi? holy crap, i was under teh impression that it could only handle around 10psi max...

and i was wondering (n00b time) if a turbo could work with an 80 or 90 shot at the same time, or would NO2 be more practical/logical for N/A only

wow i didnt know that you could put 17 pounds on it either but I thought that that was as much as it could take

go to www.levelten.com they have crap for our automatics, can make it handle hp up to 300..however i have been told some of thier components are not 100% compatible with the computer

I am by no means condoning that you go out and hook up a turbo to run 17psi on stock internals. Thats just what Tim did, but to be safe Im going to say 200whp max.
