DDR Mario Mix just came out for GC... I'd get it if I were a dork.

Back when I used to play MvsC2 at the college gameroom there was a bunch of DDR dorks that would play and get all sweaty then the whole place would stink... now I'm kinda turned off by the whole DDR thing.

I don't know which DDR game I have, but I got it for my birthday last year for PS2 along with the Ignition Pad. It embarrasses the **** out of my wife when I play it at the arcades. I suck at the game.

at least you didnt go all out like my friends and mod the pad so they could slide on their pads when playing in their socks.

tip: don't play when drunk on those pads, you will fall at your own self esteem's expense, you may not remember the fall, but all the other drunks will. and there will be pictures!

To tell you the truth.. I would love to try it... I've never gotten the chance to play it.... It does look like fun... I like interactive games like that... My favorite arcade game other than shooters is that boxing one... where you have the gloves on and you dodge.... thats a ****ing work out... I love it... I want one in my house lol...

My wife is a dance teacher and thought she would be really good at it....she sucks but love to play the game on the ps2. What is alot of fun is when we play against each other, I kick her ***... :)

okay, i forget the name of the game, but it came out when the PS2 was first released. the game costed close to $2kUSD (maybe more, i dont remember). but it was a tank game that came with a full "console" and it took about 20mins just to start the game. it was like sitting inside a tank with the set up, and had over 600 buttons (if i remember correctly). the only way to buy it was to order it from the company. the down fall you ask? no advertising in any of the mainstream media.

DDR is a great workout. I can't wait to try out the mario one on the gamecube. I'm not quite in heavy mode but I keep trying ^_^ I sometimes play with ankle weights in the standard mode just to try and work out extra. Everyone finds it entertaining when I play. I always encourage people to try and play. It's harder then it looks but once you get some of the tips down then you start to progress. Has anyone played DDR Extreme with the eye toy?

I have steel battalion its sweet, and I started playing ddr when it was on the Dreamcast back in 99' I went to tournaments and stuff too in Baltimore but I don't play much anymore.

I thought it was $99 for the Mario Mix one, but it's $49 like a regular game, maybe I should buy it.

I'm a big DDRFreak too (www.ddrfreak.com woot)...
I've played some in the arcade, but I started on a console. now I play Stepmania(DDR Emulator) with all the official step files from DDR and ITG.

I got my 2 CobaltFlux pads this last weekend cause I'm sick of buying soft pads... I've killed 2 RedOctane Ignitions.

I used to play DDR more, Max 300 Heavy woot!, but not so much anymore, the metal pads r usally 200+ thats what i got mine for last year, i mainly play Stepmania now and do all the crazy songs like the anime mixs i got and such, o and AA on Max 300 wit my fingers, either way its hard to do! =O
