Ok. I've been road testing this for about 2 months now. I have no other info then the driver noticed an increase in MPG and HP. Of course this will vary.

I have no prices, no dynos, no nothing but 3 pics. I know..Lame..stop teasing...

but sorry..its all I have right now. give me a week or two and I should have updates.

Its a little too close to engine and headers for me, but i like it alot. I wonder if that design can work with an auto, probably not...

It looks like the same route Injen/AEM used for the 97-01 Tiburon, except the route on this intake is more straightforward.

I like the way this looks. It is very clean. I am a little aprehensive about my Accord CAI, and I think the one pictured here would be better placed with in my engine bay. Where can we get one?

Thanks.

As far as the Auto..As of right now, its going to be released for MT only. When I get these going, I'm going to look for a 03+ Auto to fab one up.

Thoght you guys would have seen the BSE logo... =)

As far as closeness to the header, I'm looking @ the coating options, so it might not really be an issue. I was looking @ putting like the GK Tib, but there isnt room w/out doing a relocation kit for the battery.

hey fixer you may want to add a vibration bracket to keep the intake from vibrating. also i noticed that the position of the tb in 03-04, due to a friends car (paki), is slightly more to the left. as in mine 05 hatchback its more
centered. we couldnt believe it but its off like inches or less.

***nevermind i keep forgetting his is an 02. but it wouldnt hurt in double checking the position of the tb, it may determine the positioning/placement of the intake. ******

i still dont see how much good these are going todo over ebay CAI's besides not being a royal PITA to cut down/ and fit

there is a bracket there..just not pictured.

the test car is a 04.

when the time comes..hopefully in a week or so, I'm going to need the 01-early non VT 03 to fab one up on.

Hmmm, is that a BSE big bore throttle body and/or BSE designed CAI?? So I guess the H.A.R.D. deal fell through but BSE will still make parts for Hyundai vehicles?

I dont think its h.a.r.d. but just bse making parts for us. Doesnt look like there is cutting involved for the 04s cause it a 2 piece set if u see the maf. Yea there might be brake pedal vibration if the pipe is touching the brake resivour.

It won't fit an automatic at all.

And it's too close to to the headers.

:(

fixer it wont touch the brake reservoir correct?

Fixer

Yes BSE is still making parts for Hyundai cars... turbos, exhausts..suspenstion...

As far as I know it didnt touch the res. I will try to put it back on the car and make sure, but my test driver didnt say anything about it. I'll look @ the other pics I have and see if I can tell..but I'm going to say no it did not.

Keyan..like I said above..dont worry, I'm going to have one made for the Autos...

Isn't this for 04+ considering it has a MAF?

The picture does not show where the air filter cone ends up at. It could be a Ram Air Intake.

they released the CVVT in mid 03.

if it was a SRI I would not have posted that it was a CAI.
