Alright, as most of you know I am putting the turbo in soon.
My problem now is the oil lines.
Where do I get them from? I can get them custom made but I don't know the fitting sizes.
I will be tapping the head on the drivers side allen/5.5mm bolt into my IHI td04 (same as alpine) turbine. Then from that to the oil pan (or block if i feel lucky on that day).
Now... I tryed contacting alpine but it didnt work. I need some oil lines. I even tryed speed factor but the guy seems to not answer either.
Grrrrr.....
Here's the info I need:
What's the thread on that allen/5.5mm bolt?
Is there anywhere online that does oil lines for td04 turbos in flexible SS?

I know Tim does sell them for 100 bucks I believe, they seem to be of good quality and what your looking for. Yeah that was one problem I had is that sometimes he contacts me back, and sometimes he doesn't and I end up waiting forever. You tried contacting alpine as in alpine developments? How were you not able to get ahold of anyone?

I wish more people would actually read the instruction manual that came with their digital camera. They could easily learn to take way better pics and take advantage of all the features of their camera.
I'm getting tired of seeing blurred close up pictures!! Learn to use your macro setting please!! For those of you that don't know what your macro setting is, it's usually depicted as a flower icon on your camera. This is to be used when your lense needs to do some close up shots.

youre not going to be able to get an allen wrench and turn it out....take a small drill bit, drill thru the center, step up a couple sizes, get about 1/2 of the center drilled out, then get some pliers and crush it in and it will twist out

its like...5.25mm allen wrench, but all we could find was 5 and 5.5. seriously though, dont even waste time trying to find it. just drill it out and crush it in. takes 5 min

Alpine tells you to use a T35 torxse bit to pull that plug out, though I checked like 10 hardware stores/car shops and couldn't find one, I ended up using an easy out bit to remove the plug.

Matt, I helped him with the Alpine part. The oil feed and drain lines come prepackaged with the kit when it arrives from South Africa. As such they can't offer the lines separately.
The thread pitch on the allen plug is a 1/8th BPT. Any hardware store will have the fittings you need.
