Installed 03 pedal..

Well I had to so I could do the tibby pedals, anyways when I floor it the pedal hits the carpet... with me gunning it alot this is going to be a problem (Wearing a hole or something in carpet) is it suppose to hit?

Perhaps you didn't do it right? There has been more than a handful people that have done this and I haven't read anything about there being a problem. You only have to get one new pedal assembly (accel I think), you didn't get some of the other ones by any chance?

ya its a 03 elantra gas pedal, it was pretty simple I just put it on like the old one
