Just thought I'd share this for anyone who may need to take off their gauge needles. A friend of mine just bought a Chevy Tahoe, and ordered some gauge faces for it. The gauge faces came with a 'needle removal tool'. This tool was a GOLF GREEN TOOL. (used to replace divits left in the green). His was plastic, but similar to the one pictured below. Worked like a charm

can also just pull straight out... as long as you are careful ;)
