Well i got a ticket a week ago and basically the ticket was for my intake because its so loud i had to smog it right...... So i started it up the next day and my battery was dead... So i put a new opt red battery in and sparked right and now my window wipers don't work and gas gauge is broken again...... So i took it to get smoged and basicaly my new computer i bought like 3 months ago is bad also burn't wiring to computer. My car runs find but won't smog.... so i'm buying a new car because i can't drive the hyundai... I'm buying an audi tt 3.2L 250whp...

oem ecu automatic with computer. My hyundai project will be on hold until tax returns when i get around $6k. then maybe i can reaplace the computer. i just don't have time to fix the rest. so i'm getting a daily driver car =p

You really need to adjust your witholdings if you're getting 6K back in taxes. If you leave it as is because you have a hard time saving on your own, put it in a CD. A 12 month CD at GMAC bank would earn you another $285 on that $6,000-free-loan you are giving the government.

On Topic: Good luck getting your car fixed.

Might have kids to be getting $6K back.

OT: There's a junk yard down here in Orlando, or well, New Smyrna, that sells all it's parts at a base list price. ECU's there are $38.00. If you want, I can find one for you, just tell me what year you've got. I know you have an auto, so that parts taken care of...

no offense kinscsi, but it sounds like you have a knack for destroying electrical things. for your wiper motor, gauges, and ECU to have gotten fried (at different times?) you must be doing something careless.

better luck with the tt. but please, oh please, don't mess with the electricals on that... they are 10 times more sensitive on german cars than they are on the elantra!!!

died all at the same time. my battery sparked and my car made a noise like little wooish oh my 6k i bought my house jan 1 of this year and re did the loan 1 week to get a better interest rate so i got like alot of right offs. I was told i can right of my 5k in closing costs. also my $2100 in property taxes i just paid.i bought a laptop this year for school $1500 so ya around 6k to 8k plus my gf's 4k for taxes.

but i have some plans for my audi TT if i get 8k or more plus my gf said she would kick in 2k i'm going to buy this http://www.streetwerke.com/xcart/product.php?productid=465&cat=187&page=1 oh ya this kit makes 381hp. plus the cars awd so this will kick *** lol.

So you're gonna mess up the Audi "daily driver" as well, eh?

When that goes south too, don't come here for sympathy. Part of doin' stuff to cars is making sure what you do is actually and improvement....

how do any of you know that he broke all that stuff on his car? maybe i missed it but i havent seen anything. maybe hes not the one who did it...

and mr "red rocket"- dont be a dick, theres absolutely no reason at all for **** like that.

and mr "red rocket"- dont be a dick, theres absolutely no reason at all for **** like that.I'll tell ya what- if kinscsi thinks I'm being a dick, I'll apologize and back off. But he changed his own title to "Elantra breaker", so he apparently takes at least some responsibility in his car woes. I was maybe a little heavier than I should have been, but I really think if kinscsi is gonna buy an Audi, it would be a good idea to keep that stock and put the money into the Elantra. Or get the Elantra back to working well and make the Audi his toy. But doing radical mods on both when at least one needs to be a daily driver, considering kinscsi's track history to date, seems a bit imprudent to me.

i agree except the "track record" thing did i miss something? i havent read about him breaking anything on his car, have you?

and good luck with the audi bro, one of my favorite brands, very cool cars.
