According to the video the race begins around second 15 and ends around second 28.
That's not quite 11 seconds...

There is something called "Reaction Time" and most likely it was 17sec - 28sec if you wanna count that way. Look at the tree when it flashes green and look where I pass under that large "finish" white flag.
I can't step on the brake right on the finish line, can I?

i saw the jump at about :15.75, just before 16, and end right @ 28. if you pause, you see the time clock does say 11.678

he's right, whatever he did took 11.6 seconds.

if hes runnin 11.68's, im guessing 121

the reason I asked that is because you dont really see fwd street cars (especially ones as heavy as the tib) hooking well enough on street tires to pull those times in the 1/4 mile.
and it doesnt look like he got out of fourth, leading me to beleive he's at or under 110mph

4th only goes to 110? 3rd goes to 90 in my car. i could have sworn i hit the limiter in 4th with some left to go

2.0 DOHC
1st
3.462
2nd
2.053
3rd
1.393
4th
1.061
5th
0.837
Reverse
3.250
Final gear ratio
4.056
and with a 24.2" tire he'd be at 108mph while on the limiter in fourth.
so anway, what are the details on the car, etc.

First of all, you see the jump of the car because that's when I launch but car has no traction for 0.04 sec or something.
So in order to have a good launch with R.T, you pop out the clutch right before the green light. That's why you saw the car jumpin but it's not really moving. Look at the Tree when green light flashes
If you let the clutch go right on the green light, it's too late already.
you obviously have no experience@ track with trees, launch, R.T, etc, but that's how you have a good R.T and track time.
Second, I have longer gears in order to use my 28psi boost in first and second gear. so right after I put it in 4th, I am done already.

No ****.
Nice run. :)
People are only bashing because its uncommen in the US to have such a fast tib. You have to remember that in Korea, that's thier home country and of course they will have a larger aftermarket for the cars. I mean look at the old muscle car's and america, im sure if someone had a old 69 GTO in england for some strange reason, and wanted to modify it, they would think anything coming outta america would be fake at first and then the real deal.

Now if only some hyundais in North America could put up those numbers consitantly, it'd really do a lot for Hyundai's reputation.
Maybe this was on your website (I'm having problems getting it to open correctly here at work), but Beta II, or Delta?

I believe he uses the BetaII since he's always saying "its the same engine as yours".

If you want to know the specs about my car it's all there on my forum.
There are many other events, cars, models, and info about Korean cars as well as anything about Korea.
It's just opened, so there aren't that much yet. However, it will be sweet when it's done.
 awesome car man.It would be hella nice to have a 4 cyl car that would pwn most any other cars on the road
