Hey what's up!, I have Hyundai Meets 2-3 times a month, in Orlando FL, only when scheduled, we meet up on I-Drive, if you take Kirkman Rd to I-Drive, turn Left at the light, then go past the next light and on the Left hand side of the road you will see a shopping center parking lot, that's were we have our Meets it's between the BurgerKing and Sonic. I am looking to schedule a Hyundai Meet for Saturday Night January 7th, start time 9:00-9:30. Let me know who can make it, SeeYa.

Yeah come check it out, it's always a good Meet, so far there are 6 Elantra's that are coming, but there will be 15 or more other HyundaiTuner's that will be there. so bring your cars, show them off, and meet some really cool people, I will keep everyone posted as the time get's closer, Seeya.

It's off of I-4 (Interstate 4) heading towards Daytona. If you are in Tampa, you are about an hour and a half away. You'll take the Kirkman Road exit, just after the Universaly Studios exit ( which is about ten miles or so past Disney). You'll want to take a Left on Kirkman, then a Right onto International Drive. Look for a Burger King on the left, and just past that, there's a Parking Lot there, with an Adidas Outlet store I think, and that's where we'll be.

If you definitely want to come out, please give me a call, and I can talk you through it. I don't know the Numbered address, but the directions are easy.

You can't miss us. The directions are up above I believe. On I-Drive, on the left hand side of the road, shopping center parking lot, after Burger King, before Sonics, coming from Kirkman like you are going towards Belz Factory Outlet Mall.

I really enjoy the discussions we have, and the How-To's we discuss.

Unfortunately, rckozma, I forgot my camera again. I promise, I'll get pics at the next one this coming weekend.

Though we do meet up at a specific time, last night we were there till after 11 p.m., so please, NO ONE BE TOO SHY OR WORRIED ABOUT THE MEET TIME.

Come out whenever you can, we'll be there for a couple of hourse at least.

Oh, and if any one is concerned about the legality of it all, it's just a MEET in a parking lot. We DON'T go street race, or anything like that afterward. We hang out, talk, DIY, talk some more, and oh, ummmm...., yeah we bull**** for a while, plus some more talking. It's fun, come on out...

You'll take Kirkman South to International Drive (I-Drive) and take a left.

Thanks Aaron for chiming in. May just need to take you up on your offer. I might need help with some wiring, but it will be a battery relocation job, nothing spectacular.

Jared, there isn't a whole lot we can do without you sourcing other parts. You do need to pick up a hole tap for that oil separator for the intake so we can install that.

Also, if you want to swing by a stereo shop and pick up some wiring and ring connectors, we do the ground wire mod. Since you have an auto, it'll be pretty noticeable on your car.

And, of course, you've got the exhaust you can do, but I can't help you there. Just go to Autozone if you want the Dynomax Turbo III muffler, or PepBoys for the canister style.

battery relocation is my next "major" task as well, its just that I need to work out somethings in the trunk first with my 2 10s sittin back there.

as for the ground wiring mod, i suggest the ground buss system, looks great and catches a lot of attention. if you need some wire, i have about 12 feet of 10ga in my trunk i can send out to you guys, you just need to pay shipping on it. I eventually want to upgrade to 6 or 4 ga. though.

its nothing more than a backbone wire running from neg. term to the firewall on the passengerside and other points connected from that. easy to hide and work into the engine and not noticable to the untrained eye, unless you have bright red wire, like mine

Great, that helps, a little...

Got any pics, specifically of yours. I'm not understanding why you'd run a length of wire from the neg. cable to the passenger side firewall. That's a really long run for wire. The rest is easy to figure out, and certainly makes since.

You basically have one continuous ground, but it's the length from the battery that bothers me.

the main idea of this method is to cut down on engine bay clutter with ground wires going all over the place

:) Thanks Aaron for all your help with the Ground Buss mod. Myself and Jared did this Thursday night, and it went off without a hitch.

Jared grounded the passenger side firewall, the coil packs, and his tranny (auto).

I grounded the passenger side firewall and just the coil pack. I didn't pick up enough wire to do much more than that.

I've got 8AWG while Jared has 10AWG. I sprung for a little thicker wire, cause I felt like a money man on Thursday :)

Since you guys are doing the ground kit add one to the alternator. I originally did my ground kit with a 4gauge wire from the terminal to a distribution block on the firewall. From there it went all 8g wire to where ever. Since then I've removed all my wires (too many w/ the boost junk) except the one going to the alt. You will notice a huge improvement esp. if you have a system! You will also be suprised how TINY the wire feeding ground for your alt. is ! BTW where is the pics from the meet!!!!

My house' electricity has just finished being installed. The old wires were bad leading from the power pole to the home, so everything had to be replaced.

I have not move in yet, and I really can't during the week, so it'll have to wait till the weekend. So we have to move the get together.

Take Kirkman Road South to I-Drive.

Take a left.

Go through 1st Traffic light and look for Burger King on your left.

Just past the B.K. is a little strip mall, with a big parking lot, that's where we'll be.

Let me know what direction you'd be coming from and I can give you exact directions, okay.

I used to live over there. Here's better directions for you:

1) Take 528 towards I-4.
2) Exit onto John Young Parkway and go North
3) Take a left at Sandlake Road (youll be going East) it's about 3 miles up the road
4) Take the Kirkman Road exit from Sandlake Road. You'll be going North again.
5) At I-Drive (International Drive, traffic light), take a right.
6) After the next traffic light is the B.K. on the left and then the parking lot.

Follow these directions and you shouldn't get lost. If you do, call me, 407-716-8227.

There's a possibility of moving the meet farther west for some of the Lakeland/Tampa folks to come out and not have to drive so far. I'll keep you posted.

I'm staying in Lakeland this week. And we have another club member, who happens to be called David as well, who has an Xe Accent with the RD beta motor in it that lives in Lakeland. He hasn't been able to come out for quite some time now due to the distance.

Not to mention you live way the hell out in BFE, so we'll make it up to you and meet you somewhere halfway. :D

I've got pictures, but my camera is with my wife in North Carolina, so I can't upload them.

The meets, are Hyundai originated, however, we let any 4 cylinder come out. If you know a few people in Ocala that would like to come down, bring them. We meet only 10 minutes from the Turnpike. You could get there in about an hour and 15 minutes or so.

We usually have over 10 cars meet up with us.

Hey! I'm sorry I didn't make it. I found a super great deal on a new bike and did not want to let it pass, so I went to Lakeland on saturday and got me a brand new toy :D . Now I got 2 bikes and the XD and a very small garage. I guess from now on the XD will sleep outside. :mad:

What did you pick up? You should have called, I would have rode out to lakeland with you, it is only about half an hour from me.

When is the next meet going to be, with the holidays here I may have some free time to come out one of these weekends.

I got a 2006 GSXR 1000, new 0 miles and best of all for less than $8.000. I also finish moding my other bike a 2004 Katana 600, I just swap the swingarm to allowed a Hayabusa rear wheel on the back. Now I have a 190/50/17 tire before it was 150/70/17. Let me know one of this days maybe we can go riding I heard there alot of twisties in your area.
