So let me get this straight.......................................... the site says "The XD2's outershell is similar to the XD for only Sideskirts and the Rear bumper. The Front bumper is redesigned so only specific kits will fit it" http://www.importoverdose.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=29 WTF??? so I could purchase sideskirts and the rear bumper of an 01-03 elantra for cheaper.......and then later ONLY purchase the front bumper from an 05 elantra body kit to save money??? PLEASE HELP!! i"m excited!!!

IT DEPENDS, The HATCH REAR IS THE SIMILAR, but the sedan will need modification. (can you not create 5 threads on the same topic and SEARCH before you get post happy)

You seriously need to use the "search" button and less of the "New Thread" button.

yes, only the front bumper is different. the older front bumper will fit but with modification. all of those kits are the same side and rear, but the front is slightly different. thats on the sedan that is.

the only thing that might and i say "might" be different about the back bumper that you might have to modify is the foam underneath. call the company tomorrow. they should tell you the same as me.
im 99% sure

ALSO.....does anyone know if fiberglass kits are worth buying??? has anyone had trouble with any of them?? like breaking and things like that?? anyone know where I can get polyurethane kits??
CTele02

The ONLY polyurethane kit for the Elantra is the Concepto and thats ONLY in Korea. All body kits for the Elantra that you will be able to get are Fiberglass, so you have no choice, Deal.
BY THE WAY: SEARCH NOT ONLY THIS SITE BUT A MILLION OTHER CAR SITES THAT WILL HAVE DETAILS ABOUT FIBERGLASS. (USE GOOGLE)

yeah the fiberglass kits depending on where you order them from will require about 1,000 to 18,000 dollars worth of body work to finish them and install them on your car. if you can you want to go urethane. oh and don't ever buy anything from evofusionusa. my kit has been a living nightmare getting it installed. every single day the body shop was calling me telling me that something else didn't fit or is crap or something.

yeah i have no friggen idea....plus i think the kit is around 3,000 or so, plus shipping from korea. need to do ure own searching on that one. in the future if you can either do a good thread search because chances are this topic has been talked about before or thread this in the newbie area once.

It won't fit as checked luggage on your return trip :D
BTW they have a phone number call them and bug them about why it can't be shipped here. I'm sure if you pay them enough they'll do it for you.
Of course if you've got some extra money you could donate it to my kids college fund.

Here I will chime in....
The rear bumper of the XD2 is different then the XD... the trunk door is wider on the XD2.. the modifications have to be done in that area alone...
Sides are the same... my kit came with ones that were a weeee bit tight
Fronts are very different... grill stays on the bumper on the XD2 and on the XD its attaches to the hood.... lights are a bit larger... look the same but not quite notice the light closest to the grill to see a comparison
Fiberglass is OK... its a chore to keep it from scrapping on to theings ( I just hit a Ice chunk the other day... chipped the paint on the lower part.. no crack)

and you can get the concepto kit shipped to the US. all it takes is $$$$$$$$$$.
please remember, always search before you post questions. 99.99874129% of all newb questions have been asked before and answered. another way is to PM (private message) someone here and ask a direct question about the kit or what ever. just look at their profile and look at their mods. then go from there.
and dayum, usually evan jumps on the newbs first. looks like evan is getting soft and ctele is taking over. glad to have you aboard ctele as our official newb pwn3r, lol :D
