I can see them focusing on a straight line and not a wide area like the us oem ones do.

I think they're worth $120. I think it's a better match than the foglights that came stock because these OEM projector fogs have the same flat black housing on the inside of the housing, simliar to how our OEM headlights are.
Also, the beam pattern on these are much better and will widen your field of view when you're driving at night. Maybe I'll take some pics to show you the difference when the fogs are on and off, so you can see the extra illumination.
The only downside to this is that installation required removal of the front bumper. Also, it fogs up on the inside because the fit isn't perfect. And as much of a pain it is to change the bulbs on the U.S. spec OEM foglights, changing the bulbs on this is much harder and requires the removal again of your front bumper.
I think the projector fogs give it a much sportier, Euro look than the OEM fogs.

blackelantraGT.. Pictures would be great, thanks man!.. also why do you need to take the bumper off to install these and to change the bulbs?? i dont need to take the bumper off to change the bulbs in my OEM fogs, all i need to do is take the headlights off.

Where'd you hear that? The light in the U.S. OEM spec fogs is scattered all over. It helps, but no where near as much as the projector fogs.
There's no way that it brings less light because you're still using the same H1 bulbs with the same wattage.
If upgrading to projectors meant that your beam pattern will get worse, then no one on HIDPlanet.com would ever recommend a retrofit. That's all that those guys do is answer questions from newbs about buying an HID kit and their response is always to do it right the first time with a proper projector retrofit.

I haven't removed my headlights so if you can access your foglights that way, then you probably won't have to remove the bumper.
when I had my stock fogs, I just changed the bulb from underneath the car. It was tight and a pain in the ***, but eventually I was able to change the bulb that way.

yea if you take your headlights off you have plenty of room to change the bulbs in your fogs. from what iv seen when i was changing the bulbs, it wont be that hard to take them out and put the kspec ones in i think theres enough room. if i need to take my bumper off though im not going to buy them.

i remembered that with the stock fog, the area right in front of it was scattered and bright.
But with the fogs, I can drive on the right hand side of a 5-6 lane Southern California freeway, and with the projector fogs, it will light up the concrete center divider left of the carpool lane. If I turn off the projector fogs, I lose about 1 1/2 lanes of view (that's just counting the left hand side).

Kyrol has them... (he only posts from time to time) and I know he really likes his....
he even got HIDs for them, although he said that was overkill.... it did look pretty sweet that they matched his purple HID headlights....

I found a nice, dark secluded area in an industrial area to take the pictures, and I turned on my camera only for it to say "No Memory Stick". I forgot that I still had the memory stick at home, so I'll have to take these pics another night.
EDIT: Sorry these weren't the best pics, but it should give you all a general idea of how it'll look with the KDM projector driving lights. All pics were taken from left side driver's point of view.

the projector fogs are a must for all GT owners!! i cant wait for the spring....if you have a CAI the fogs are easy to get to....and the fact that they use the same H1 bulb is a plus...

Or were you looking for a front view shot? I'd have to take a front shot for you if that's the case. When they are on at night, to me the car has a more "euro" look because of the projector fogs. The light is more concentrated and focused instead of being scattered everywhere, so to me it creates a prettier effect by having your 2 dull headlamps + 2 "twinkly" projectors, instead of having 2 dull headlamps + 2 dull foglights.
When I bought mine from a group buy here a few years ago, the bulbs came with OEM Osram H3 bulbs. My personal suggestion would be to not change it, because OEM H3 bulbs have lasted the longest for me and the foglights aren't as easy to change as the headlights. When I originally installed mine, I changed out the bulbs for Silvania Silverstar H1 bulbs, and they lasted no where as long as I had hoped for. When one side went out, I ended up driving without the foglights for more than 6 months until we decided to fix it. I don't think I'll ever go for that long again without foglights. They make such a big improvement in nighttime driving.

How hard is the install on the fogs..... yea i own a gt but lol those fog lights look preetty locked down . any tips or suggestions would be great....

If it's true that you can reach down to the foglights by removing the headlights, then the install might not be as hard.
My younger cousin put mine in for me and we had to remove the front bumper to get back there where the foglights were. We actually never figured out how to completely get the front bumper off, but once most of the screws were out, we were able to pull the bumper off far enough to do what we had to do.
As far as any electrical stuff goes, it's all plug and play if you have a GT with the OEM foglights.

Yeah I do need to post more but the new car payment is killing me right now. I am making double payments so I can refi at a lower rate cause of a credit card screw up that just now got fixed. But anyway.
To install these you do have to remove your front bumper to make it easy. It's nothing more then simple hand tools and buy a few plastic snaps cause you will break 1 or 2 of them. 3 screws hold each fog light and it's a one wire deal. With the projectors in it make a nice difference you see alot more off to the sides then with the stock fogs. After getting hids in both low and high beam standing infront of my car hurts. I don't even drive around with the foglights on unless it's open highway or back road. To get an idea of how bright they are think A police helocoppter search light straped to the hood of a car. With normal bulbs it's not to bad. to make the install fast grab a friend and make sure you set the bumper down on some old shirts or something to you don't scratch the paint and be carful not to bend it all up or you "could crack the paint"
BTW the car used only 10kmiles on it and was Grandma owned 76 year old women used it to go to the country club lol 04 E55 AMG. Wasn't able to get sat radio on it but everything else is on it. I would get pics but still without a digi camera. Once I get settled in with the new car I'm gonna have to grab a new one.
Ps to get the bumper off you have to remove the headlights there are more screws under there. like 6 screws on top 2 in each fender well and 4-6 underneath of the car if I remember correctly just take your time don't yank it off.
