Do you ever drive to impress someone else??
I'm not talking about driving to impress someone you have in the car (driving safer because your mother is in the car, or faster because another friend who loves cars is in the car...)
Do you ever daydream, and pull up next to that 45 year old man, wonder who he works for to drive such a nice car, and then let your mind wander. Every once in a while I catch myself driving as if I were a racer, not as a 16 year old kid trying to drive fast, but trying to mimic race car drivers when I might jokingly try and start a race with someone older in a nice car. It's funny when I catch myself doing it, wondering if there is someone that I'm going to race someday (not that I race...more so try to beat to the speed limit)...who is going to be some sort of race scout.
So, now that I've been totally transparent. I want at least 10 replies of what other people daydream about. Can have something to do with cars, can be totally unrelated. I don't care. Whatever gets you thinking of other things when your mind should be on something else.

I catch myself daydreaming quite often, especially at work...
I dream sometimes about being out of college, having a comfortable house and garage, having a wife and family started...that my house and garage will be something of a community place, where the neighbors all come to hang out and their kids bring their cars for help working on them, and there is community. Having a job that pays enough to do this as well...
I also catch myself from time to time dreaming of "the one that got away...."

I don't pretend and imagine on the road no,
but if there are other riced cars on the road, I will act a little more rice and play with them a little bit...and when I'm at hyundai dealerships I do act like big stuff because I was a COTM....lol

Hey I resemble that remark :). I love when someone wants to try & out race or impress me in my lowered GT. I watched a Neon SXT get pulled over for passing me & doing 55 in a 35. Oh yeah I was impressed. I watch some car run into another car in front of them when I passed them (they were at a stop/yield sign) & they were day dreaming as I passed in my 73 Z28.. Yes I'm older & yes I have done the same thing as you when I was your age.. With age come some wisdom. I still have done things here I won't mention with my cars over the years that were really fun but really dangerous... Enjoy life... :)

My driving impresses people naturally.
Sometimes I dream about being Michael Jackson (wtf? I should delete that but I won't because it'll be funny).

Hahaha.
Sorry I ruined your topic.
If someone can take over the topic and take it to a place where michael jackson jokes abound...all the better for it.
