Well, in high school we were talking about modern european history, and breezed over the topic of Thomas Hobbes' book, Leviathan. I thought it sounded like a cool name, so I changed my handle. A year or so later, we got AOL -- again, this was before the internet was very accessible. I tried to log in as Leviathan, and it tried to tell me I should just stick with Levthn81928971 or something ludicrous like that.

So I put a 't' at the end of Leviathan, and it became a unique identifier.

The X-Wing Game Guide Book actually came in a story format, so all the missions link and play together. In the game, you play AS Keyan Farlander (except the death star missions - you play as luke. Keyan flys an Y-Wing and can be seen flying away from the First Death Star as it blows up IN THE MOVIE)

Some of my students overheard the chairman calling me Crashman, and they took to addressing me that way, too.

I let the kids get away with it for two reasons. First, I really wasn't much older than they were, and it was kind of strangely comforting. But, secondly, and more importantly, as a teacher of economics, they could have called me a lot worse! :)

As for my name well start with some history hehe

well i used to go as
DDDEEEEEEE, which was nothing more then a kinda funny/retarded sound i used to joke around and make when i was like 10 so people would thing there was something wrong with me.. looking back, maybe there was?! lol

Then i started using U. B. Ugly.. pretty obvious, and if your reading this, your ugly (that was the intention.. yep i was dumb lol)

But then i started playin quake1 around 97 or so and i got really good. top 20 out of the thousands of players on Heat.net (segas online pc game shot way back when) then i moved on to start playin and placing well at a ton of old school first person shooters from then up through HS, and my junior year i started hanging with other first person shooter dorks and we had a crapload of lan partys. Some at houses, some at college campuses etc..

and since ubugly was too long for people to yell across the room, they started calling me ugs (pronounced: Ugh-s), so i used the name Uggs for about a year then just decided i didnt like the spelling and look of it, so i started using Ugzz and it just stuck since then. Now in pretty much every game i still use that name and the old school dashes and equals signs like this: --=Ugzz=--
(and if the game alows colors the charachters go red/yellow/red/yellow etc.)
