First off, that other thread about resetting the ECU is off-topic cuz it's about someone getting an Accord CAI. 2nd, if he wants to believe what big brother says then so be it. You want proof, look at you miles per gallon after you reset your ECU...if ya got a GT. They increase due to the change in the fuel curve. 3rd, don't ask to be banned, if you don't like this website then don't come back..simple as that...

Yea well i kinda got defensive after he pointed me out of the crowd, and calling our dyno proven method BS. And in my defense he came off pretty dam snotty to me. I never take critisism with a grain of salt but apparently he does.

On another forum that I am very active on (not car-related) a 13 year-old member started a thread about how he wasn't going to post anymore because he thought people were being mean to him, and this-and-that. The moderator staff there posted the best response I have ever seen on the topic of someone making a post - about not making a post anymore.

*sigh... unfortunately, it has since been deleted, so a lot of this post I'm making lost its meaning - I will say what the general idea was, however it's not going to do the original justice.

If you want to leave, leave. Starting a post saying you are never coming back in an attempt to martyr your screenname, does nothing but show your immaturity.

Now, perhaps the reason for this thread is to simply make sure people don't get frusterated if you don't reply to a PM or something. Perhaps you decided that in an effort to conserve a valuale fossil-fuel, you would no longer drive a car, thus making your participatoin on an automotive board a contradiction of your newly-found beliefs. Perhaps you did not like the fact that you had a e-disagreement in which insurmountable data and opinions was presented against your case, causing the only way for you to save-face being leaving the site. Perhaps we'll never know.
