Winter Solstice

At approximately 2:30 Atlantic Time today we officially moved into Winter (at least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere). Today is the shortest (in hours of daylight) and tonight is the longest!

The upside is that from here on in the hours of daylight get longer which means Winter will eventually end (...sometime) :cool:

It's funny though, because around here the worst part of the winter is late Jan-early March, not right now, but now that I think of it, day length has nothing to do with weather I guess.

I always think that once you make it through Jan its almost over, because around here the snow is almost gone by end of Mar, and we have about 1/4 of the snow that we normally have by this time. *knocks on wood* So I keep a positive outlook on things. I find that buying car parts makes the time fly by also, it also drains the savings account
