What are your thoughts about this K&N oil filter? Is it worth? :confused:

My first mods will be 03 Tiby GT Sway bar, and Accord CAI.

That's a good find ... only thing is now you have to find something for $0.39 to hit the $25 min for Free Super Saver shipping ...

It happened to me a few weeks back for something else and I got my daughter a book for $1.95 :-)

Can anyone comment on this oil filter? Any good? or over rated/priced?

i have one,(cone filter though) love it. get the oil too, youll never need another filter, if you can wash your hands, you can clean the filter. also K&N supposedly claim HP and MPG increases from their filters. so win win. go for it


edit-wait a sec, you wanna get a panel filter but your doing a CAI...? just wait a bit-get an accord CAI for cheap and a K&N cone filter for it and presto-best intake for a XD. thats my 2cents

Will the K&N cone filter RU-3580 (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RU-3580) fit a 2.75" pipe diameter CAI? Sorry I am not a car savy... Can someone tell me which K&N cone air filter part # will fit a 2.75" diameter pipe CAI?

NVM, I found them. it's either RU-2940 (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RU-2940) or RU-0960 (http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=RU-0960). I think I'll get the RU-2940 for $26.13 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062YQWU/qid=1135363714/104-0080778-9523126) with free shipping.

Edit: Forget it... that one is too big 7" outside diameter!!!

I just purchased the RU-3580 for $23.27 instead.

BTW, prices went up.
