I was just wondering if any other city has a city wide cruise night?
Here in Winnipeg ours takes place on sunday night on Portage ave, pretty crazy night, hundreds of cars cruise and hundreds more ppl line portage just chillin watching and checking out the nice rides. check out the site :abovelol:

On another note my buddy and i were in edmonton a couple weeks ago and some dude asked us if we were from winnipeg of course we said ya. then the dude says "whats with that cruise night you guys have thats pretty stupid"
we reply "you're just jealous cuz you don't have any nice cars in edmonton" and the guy walks off. (btw edmonton does have alot of nice cars we just wanted to piss him off)

I want to know what the XD community thinks of our city wide cruise night

I think it's kind of funny to have an official 'cruise night' I think just about every town has a night that cars cruise.. my home town made it illegal to cruise, but people did it anyway.

it was causing traffic jams, and people would start fights and stuff... The put up little signs along the route people used to cruise saying "No Cruising". My dad told me when they were teenagers people used to cruise pretty much the same area.

Prince Albert Saskatchewan... has a cruise night after the car show in August...basically just everyone goes out driving around...

And in Saskatoon they have Cruise weekend...which has street legal drags at the SIR (where i found out my car was slow) and a huge car show and then cruising on 8th street...and the cops usually aren;t to bad but sometimes get a little ticket happy...
