has anyone seen this before. Is it just more ebay junk or a deal?

looks legit to me. The only negative that I can see is the "this is a rare item, expect delays on shipping..."
you could be waiting months for it, that takes away their responsability to ship in a timely manner.

god that is missing so much stuff, not to mention that turbo is WAY too big. unless youre going for some serious power, that is going to cause so much turbo lag, it wont be fun to drive. that IC looks to be way to big to put behind the stock bumper, unless you want to do some chopping/cutting...theres no charge pipes, IC piping, air filter, fuel management (huge), no downpipe...theres too much missing to call it a turbo kit.

To tell you the truth, Evan, I was waiting for a thank you.
What's the price on the new kit from alpine? 2100? Much better deal. Or you could just go custom like kewlkat.

sorry...i do appreciate posting the stuff up
but as for the kit...i wouldnt think of buying that for that price. you will have to add so much stuff to it. at least w/ alpine's basic/starter/stage 0/whatever theyre calling it has everything you will need to get started, including the unichip for fuel tuning. that includes little stuff like couplers, all necessary bolts/nuts, air filter, clamps, etc etc.
trust me, ive been through this before, and i hate when you hear someone say "complete turbo kit for sale"...its never a complete kit

Now it's my turn to be polite. Sorry for busting your chops, just having a little fun.
And when I said "better deal", I meant that the alpine kit is a better deal. The little stuff all ads up, and with this 850$ kit, I'm sure the end price would be more than the alpine kit.

ah ok, i see what youre saying now. i tried to do the kit/custom deal, paid 1500 for a SF kit, and w/ the clutch, fuel management, goodies (dual stage boost controller, low comp head gasket, silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps) etc etc, i think i had about 3800-4000 wrapped up into it, and needed about another 800 to finish the fuel management. looking back, i should have just saved up 3g and put it into the alpine kit and been set

I was thinking to myself that since it doesn't come with pipes for the IC and other misc things it probly would cost more than the starter kits. just curious

That's the SSA 'kit'. Those are rebuilt Turbochargers and a substandard manifold. It looks nice but WILL crack.
