I had to get my drive clean test done...should have been a week ago, but oh well.
Here's the results:
ASM 2525-------------------------------Curb Idle
HC ppm Limit 66, Reading 2-----------Limit 150, Reading 2
CO% Limit 0.37, Reading 0.00--------Limit 0.70, Reading 0.00
NO ppm Limit 505, Reading 1-----------n/a
So if you need to take your Elantra in, don't worry too much unless you've never taken care of your car.

What (if any) mods have you done?
If you do have some, did you take it back to stock for the test?

It means he passed the emissions test. The 2525 test is with the wheels spinning 25mph, with 25% load. HC's are hydro carbons, or raw unburned fuel (these will be high with any kind of misfire). CO is carbon monoxide, this will be produced when the mixture is rich. NOx is oxides of nitrogen, these will be produced when the combustion chamber is at or above 2500 degrees f, and increases the closer you get to stoich. The catalytic converter will change everything coming out so it is more suitable for the environment.

In Ontario, we need to get our cars tested to renew our stickers, these are the test results of the emissions that Ontario is looking at reducing.
Rob, I have an SRI by Vibrant Performance and no I didn't return to stock. This is the only engine mod I have done so far. As well, I have over 180,000 km's put on my ODO and haven't had to replace any exhaust or emisson control parts at all.

I don't understand WHY they gov't is doing these tests beginning when the car hits the age of three! It continues to be mandatorily tested every other year thereafter. Almost EVERY car on the road passes this test with flying colors at the age of 3, even at the age of 5 they are doing well. It is totally a cash grab up to that point.
Mine passed in August without an inkling of concern. I took it to a facility where it was a drive in and had the ability to do a lowered/kitted car (not all can). They look under the hood to make sure you have everything you need, they look for one thing in particular that if you don't have it your car is unsafe and they will refuse to test it (can't recall what at the moment). I don't think they cared about my CAI but I can't remember if they even looked. They figured, I think, that it looked like a car that was well maintained and just started it up and went. It's funny though, one guy in the facility that was waiting for his car to be tested was able to tell it was a Hyundai off the bat and I was shocked....that was the first person ever.
I believe they are changing the policies to only test a car after it is 5 years old, I THINK, for models 2006 and newer. They had alot of complaints and are noticing that testing these "new" cars is a waste of time. I heard a rumour they were canning the whole program, but the cost of actually opening a facility and all the equipment would cause a total outrage against the gov't by the operators/owners if they were to close down.

If I recall correctly, there was a proposal sometime in 2004 to scrap the Drive Clean program by as early as 2007. I'm guessing that fell through for the same reasons that the GST hasn't been scrapped yet; it does help fill the coffers at the pig trough, I mean gov't offices
