ok guys, as the title says i just went to get my december va state inspection

and the dude that was doing the inspection wanted to fail me

just because the head light assembly wasn't stock in his opinion

I was like what, how can that be illegal? those are stock and he goes because they don't have the DOT logo on the assembly like the rear lights

so guys, as a heads up hopefully no one else has this issue with the mechanic i think for now on i will go to the actual dealership and get work done including the inspection if i am still in Virginia next Decemeber

southwestern VA, Patrick County...

just some middle-aged guy had a little hole in the wall garage and he just happened to be able to do state inspections. took him like 5 minutes or even less to do it...

When I was gone they tried to fail my wife in TX because the filter wasn't in a box?!?! There are no CAFE type laws here and its suppose to be a safty inspection. How is that unsafe. Idiots. She took it somewhere else and it passed. That guy was lucky it wasn't me with the car that day.

o well, i was looking on my head light and umm it says its from korea and it has some other stuff on it so i think he was just blind ugg i just got a thing from dmv stating that i need to get an emissions done


frickin virginia i so hate this state, cant wait till i move south
