at this point, i think it would be cool to get it to match, but im really unsure of how much longer im gonna have the car, and if i wont have it, ill just be getting rid of the blue LED hvac and sell it to someone who wants to replace the few burnt out bulbs.

I don't have an answer for you Felix, but I do remember in the other thread about this, Ilan said that it wouldn't show up with black on black. Thus the reasoning for doing this GB on black faced overlays.

I bought those white hvac controls and opened up the hvac unit.... cleaned the green coating of the back of the gauges and took out two green bulbs bulb for the hvac and after doing this I then fitted the white face gauges onto the inside of the hvac and superglued them in... and closed the unit back up. Oh and i also changed the color of the dial by putting transparent red film near the oem bulbs and it worked. If anyone wants a diy for it i can put it on my car website and post a link..... Just PM me

It isn't an LED in the 04-06, it's three bulbs mated to sockets, and greenish tint to the redirecting plastic that gets the light from the bulb to the button face. If you open up the HVAC and paint the face/redirecting plastic with a blue or purplish clear paint/etc, you can get the buttons too. Or, if you are a bit creative [like I tried], you can get purple bulbs from Autolumination.com and with a small pick/screwdriver, transplant the purple dash bulbs from their housing to the HVAC housing...

Sorry, I have bad news, I remember this cluster now, I did not think we could make it at the time, so we sent it to Overseas where our factory is, and had them check to see if it can be made and they said no. Plus in the last week only one person has bought it for this, and you said you had 7 people ready, so it looks like it is going to fail again anyways. If we get 10 people in the next 7 days, then we will do our best in working with the factory to try and make these. If we do not get them in 7 days, then we will remove this from the development and it will never be attempted again, we have spent lots of money and man ours getting this all together, 2 times now, with no one interested either time. So email me again in a week and we will look back into this again

^That's rediculous. I don't know where the "only one person has bought in" thing came from, cause it clearly says that about 15 of us have already submitted our info. This company, SRP, is the same company that manufactured the gauges that I have on my car now, only they are white-faced and not black. I don't understand why this can be so difficult, they already have the layout (on the 01-03 at least), all they need to do is use that layout and when they imprint them just use black instead of white. If they can't be made then they can't be made, but I just lost all confidence in this company, especially after they took my CC info!

Thanks Ilan, I will call them tomorrow when I'm back at my normal workplace. I went back and checked the original GB, it looks like Onelove got a notice that they were going to charge everyone, then about 10 days after that, people recieved them. So keep your fingers crossed.

There are a total of 8 buy-ins, which really at this point does not matter as we were supposed to pull this off the site weeks ago. We do not believe that we can even make panels for this model. We put it up to see how it did and in the mean time you guys were supposed to send out a unit so we can see if we could make it. But it never made it to the final, and if that is any indication of how well it will sell then it is not something we want to produce.


We can make a custom set for you guys at $100 each for the 8 of you but you would have to agree to all pay that much, other wise it goes up $20 per person as each drops our So if 7 want it then it is $120 and if 6 want it then it is $140, and so on. it will cap at $200. Let me know what you guys want to do. If you all want the gauges too we could work out a deal to do them all together, the a/c panel and gauges for $250 per person. again if not all of you wanted it the prices would have to be recalculated. So let me know who if any wants to do this. Sorry that it came down to this but we have to go by what is popular, and if we can not even get 10 people then it is not something worth producing.

They say 8 people, and $100 a person for the custom deal.....I guess they don't consider the three duplicate buy-ins seperate. It tacks $20 a person per person dropped...think, at 11 units [8 people, plus 3 dupes], they might drop it at least back down to 60? Hm...I'd still be willing to pay $60 a unit, to have one that almost noone else will get....you guys?

Ok, so I paid for Felix's on my wifes credit card, and he paid me back. I called the place because only one charge appeared on the card at first. The lady that does the processing saw the two charges and assumed that I had done it by accident. Send them an email saying what you did (Everyone who bought in for two!) and see if they will do it for the 10 people.
